Opening Monologue – The Joe Mangiacotti Show – February 13, 2025 – WCRN 830 AMGood afternoon, New England! You’re tuned in to The Joe Mangiacotti Show—Common Sense Conversation for the Common Sense Citizen. Coming to you live on WCRN 830 AM, Radio Central, reaching across the heart of New England and right into the center of today’s issues.I’m Joe Mangiacotti, and as always, I’m here to cut through the noise, break down the spin, and bring you the truth—straight, unfiltered, and with a healthy dose of common sense. Because let’s face it, folks, in a world where the media and the political elite are more interested in controlling the narrative than actually solving real problems, somebody’s got to talk straight. So, let’s get into it.The Fear-Driven Politics of the Left – Worcester’s "Sanctuary City" CharadeI want to start today right here at home in Massachusetts, in Worcester, where the city council just voted to make it a so-called “sanctuary city” for transgender individuals. Now, what does that mean? Well, it’s mostly symbolic—doesn’t actually change anything in the law—but it’s another classic example of performative politics meant to stir up fear where there is none.Let’s be real: no one is coming after trans people. No one is being rounded up. No one is being denied their basic human rights. But if you listen to the activists and the progressive politicians, you’d think we were living in some dystopian nightmare where jackbooted federal agents are storming into Worcester to arrest people for seeking “gender-affirming care.”It’s nonsense. It’s fear-mongering. It’s designed to divide us and distract from the actual issues affecting everyday citizens—like crime, the economy, and government overreach. And here’s the kicker: This city council vote could actually cost Worcester federal funding for education, housing, and social services. That’s money that helps real working-class families. But nope—city leaders decided that virtue-signaling was more important than making sure the city keeps the resources it needs. Because feelings trump facts in 2025, apparently.I say it all the time: When the Left doesn’t have a real crisis, they manufacture one. And this is just the latest example.Tulsi Gabbard Confirmed as DNI – The Left Loses Its MindNow, let’s shift gears to some actual news—Tulsi Gabbard has been confirmed as Trump’s new Director of National Intelligence. And let me tell you, the reaction from the usual suspects has been priceless. The establishment politicians and their media allies are absolutely melting down because Tulsi Gabbard—a former Democrat, turned independent, now Republican—just stepped into one of the most powerful positions in national security. Why? Because she actually believes in civil liberties and holding the intelligence agencies accountable. Imagine that! A Director of National Intelligence who doesn’t think it’s okay for the government to spy on its own citizens without a warrant. What a radical concept, right? The deep state is shaking right now because they know Tulsi isn’t one of them. She’s not a career bureaucrat who’s going to rubber-stamp illegal surveillance or protect intelligence agencies that think they’re above the law. She’s a veteran, a patriot, and someone who’s been calling out government overreach for years. And now, she’s in a position to actually do something about it.And let’s not forget—the only Republican senator who voted against her? Mitch McConnell. The guy who has spent decades making sure Washington stays exactly the way it is—corrupt, unaccountable, and serving only the elite. So this is a huge win for those of us who actually care about restoring constitutional government and ending the surveillance state. And you can bet that this is just the beginning of Trump’s second-term shake-up.The Media Freakout Over RFK Jr.Speaking of shake-ups, let’s talk about RFK Jr., because the media still hasn’t figured out what to do with him. He’s a Kennedy—so the Left should love him, right? But he’s also a truth-teller who isn’t afraid to call out government corruption and Big Pharma—so they absolutely hate him.And now, he’s in Trump’s administration. That’s right—the son of Robert F. Kennedy, a lifelong Democrat, is working with Donald Trump. If that doesn’t tell you how broken and out-of-touch today’s Democratic Party is, I don’t know what will.RFK Jr. has been one of the strongest voices against government and corporate collusion—whether it’s Big Tech censorship, pharmaceutical corruption, or the overreach of federal agencies. And let’s be clear: He’s not some right-wing operative. He’s just a guy who actually believes in freedom and accountability. But for the Left, that’s the ultimate sin. They’d rather destroy him than listen to him. And now that he’s aligned with Trump? Oh boy, the media is about to go into full-blown meltdown mode.Trump’s Second Term – The Great Reckoning BeginsAnd that brings us to the big picture—Trump’s second term is underway, and we are already seeing the deep state, the media, and the establishment politicians panic.• Tulsi Gabbard is heading up the intelligence community.• RFK Jr. is playing a key role in reforming government.• The usual suspects—Democrats, RINOs, and their media allies—are in full panic mode because they see what’s coming: real accountability, real reform, and a government that actually works for the people, not the elites. And let’s not forget—the Trump agenda is just getting started.Final Thoughts Before We Open the PhonesSo that’s where we are today, folks. The Left is fear-mongering, the deep state is panicking, and the Trump administration is actually doing what it promised—shaking up the system and holding people accountable. And we’re just six weeks into the second term. Now, I want to hear from you. What do you think about Worcester declaring itself a “sanctuary city” for trans people? Do you agree with Tulsi Gabbard’s confirmation? What do you make of RFK Jr.’s role in Trump’s administration? The number to call is 508-871-7000. Let’s have some Common Sense Conversation for the Common Sense Citizen. You’re listening to The Joe Mangiacotti Show on WCRN 830 AM—we’ll be right back after this.

The Joe Mangiacotti Show – Opening Monologue
February 11, 2025 – 1 PM on WCRN 830 AM
Good afternoon, New England! Welcome to The Joe Mangiacotti Show—Common Sense Conversation for the Common-Sense Citizen—right here on WCRN 830 AM, where we cut through the noise, get to the facts, and call it like we see it.
We’ve got a packed show today, folks. A lot has been happening in the world of politics, government overreach, and—surprise, surprise—the left’s failed policies coming back to bite them. We’ll get into all of it, but let’s start with one of my favorite topics: accountability—or, in this case, the absolute lack of it when it comes to government overreach.
Let’s talk about Elizabeth Warren and the monster she created that’s now turned against her. It’s a little thing called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, or CFPB. Warren and the progressives built this agency to be a regulatory sledgehammer—a government watchdog that could operate without any real oversight, without accountability, and—most importantly—without having to answer to Congress or the American taxpayer.
Well, what happens when you create an agency so independent, so outside the reach of the elected branches of government, that it no longer follows the will of the people? You get exactly what we’re seeing today. Trump-era officials figured out how to turn off the funding spigot, leaving the CFPB out in the cold. And guess what? Warren is furious. But guess what else? There’s nothing she can do about it.
She built this thing thinking her party would always be in charge, always pulling the strings. But in politics, power swings like a pendulum, and now it’s on the other side. She created an unaccountable bureaucracy, and now that it’s working against her, she’s screaming about how unfair it is. Oh, the irony. This, my friends, is why we don’t build government agencies that operate outside the control of the people’s representatives.
Now, we’re going to break this down in detail, but here’s the big takeaway: Be careful what you wish for. The same overreach Warren and the left built into the CFPB has now cut them off at the knees. And it’s a lesson for every politician who thinks they can rig the system to their advantage forever—because nothing in politics is forever.
But it doesn’t stop there, folks. This is part of a larger trend of progressive overreach that keeps blowing up in their faces. Just look at what’s happening in DuPage County, Illinois, where Democrats have taken control of the county board and are now trying to erase the legacy of Henry Hyde—a man who fought for decades to protect the sanctity of life by making sure your tax dollars weren’t funding abortion-on-demand.
Hyde was a principled, courageous legislator, but now that the left is in control of DuPage County, they want to erase him from history. They’re voting to remove his name from the county courthouse, and folks, let’s call it what it is—this is about ideological purging. It’s about rewriting history to fit a radical leftist agenda. They don’t care about fairness, legacy, or honoring history. They care about power, and when they get it, they use it to crush anything that stands in their way.
And speaking of Democrats mismanaging everything they touch, let’s talk about the job market. You’ve probably heard the mainstream media talking about how strong the economy is, how great the job numbers are—but let’s dig into the reality. The latest jobs report showed only 143,000 new jobs—way lower than expected. The media is spinning this like crazy, blaming bad weather, wildfires, or whatever excuse they can find, but the truth is simple: Bidenomics isn’t working.
And let’s not forget about the federal budget deficit—which has now skyrocketed to $838 billion in just the first four months of the fiscal year. That’s a $306 billion increase from last year. Revenues are barely up, but spending? Through the roof. The government is spending 15% more than last year, and this is while Biden and the left keep telling us how great things are. They are drowning us in debt, inflating the economy, and making it harder for every hardworking American to get ahead.
So here’s where we are, folks:
The left’s overreach is backfiring spectacularly—Warren’s CFPB is being starved of funds, and she’s powerless to stop it.The progressive purge is alive and well—they’re trying to erase Henry Hyde’s name from the courthouse simply because they hate his conservative values. The economy is not as strong as they want you to believe—job numbers are weak, inflation is still hitting your wallet, and the government is spending us into oblivion.
And yet, they keep demanding more control, more government, and more of your money.
So what do we do? We hold the line. We push back against the radical left and their constant attempts to centralize power in Washington. We demand accountability, fiscal responsibility, and policies that actually benefit the American people instead of bloated bureaucracies and radical social agendas.
I want to hear from you—have you had enough of this nonsense? Are you tired of government overreach, economic mismanagement, and historical revisionism? Call in at 508-871-7000, and let’s have a real conversation about where we go from here.
We’ve got a great show coming up. We’re going to dig deeper into the CFPB debacle, talk about the erasure of conservative history in Illinois, and expose the real numbers behind the economy. Plus, we’ve got some great guests joining us, so don’t go anywhere!

The Joe Mangiacotti Show – February 10th, 2025
“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining me this afternoon. It’s 1:00 PM on WCRN, and you’re tuned into The Joe Mangiacotti Show—where common sense is the currency, and today, we're about to spend it wisely.
Now, folks, I've gotta tell you—I've been doing this for a long time. I've seen it all, heard it all, and honestly, some of what I’m about to break down for you today is enough to make your head spin. We’re talking about your tax dollars—the hard-earned money you work for day in and day out—being funneled into some of the most ridiculous, infuriating, and downright offensive projects you could imagine. I’m not just talking about the usual waste; this is next-level stuff. So buckle up, because I’m going to take you through a list of government-funded ‘extravagances’ that will make your blood boil.
First up, let’s talk about USAID—the U.S. Agency for International Development. A name that sounds so innocent, right? But what if I told you it’s actually been a slush fund for all sorts of ridiculous, woke nonsense, funding everything from transgender operas in Colombia to drag shows in Ecuador? You heard me right, folks. Taxpayer money—your money—has been spent on this garbage. And don’t even get me started on how much has gone into funding “diversity, equity, and inclusion” programs in foreign countries. $2 million for transgender activism in Guatemala? $1.5 million for LGBTQ job programs in Serbia?
If you're sitting there thinking, “Joe, why should I care about this? This is happening halfway across the world.” Let me tell you why: because your government is siphoning off your money to push an agenda that doesn’t even have your interests in mind. Meanwhile, we’ve got homeless veterans on our streets, inflation eating away at your paycheck, and an economy that’s gasping for air. And yet, somehow, we can afford to fund drag queens on the other side of the globe. Ridiculous, right?
But it gets better—oh, it gets better, folks. Climate change? You know, the thing they keep telling us is the end of the world unless we spend trillions? USAID is throwing money at it like it’s Monopoly cash. We’re talking $150 billion—yes, BILLION—with a ‘B’—for climate equity, climate justice, whatever fancy term they’ve invented this week. And where is all this money going? Electric vehicle charging stations in Vietnam, a country that’s got a far cry from a robust EV market. How about $1.5 million to train Kenyan women to ‘fight climate change’? Last time I checked, the best way to fight climate change in the U.S. was by keeping the lights on and the economy moving—but apparently, the solution is to give away millions to other countries.
You know what’s truly infuriating about this? Americans are struggling at home. Gas prices are up, people can’t afford their groceries, and we’re supposed to sit back while our own government spends your tax dollars on things like electric car charging stations in third-world countries.
But hey, don't worry—there’s more.
Mass migration—a topic I know has been a hot-button issue lately. But you know what I don’t hear enough people talking about? How the U.S. government is actually funding this mass migration. $14 million in cash vouchers handed out to migrants at our southern border. And it doesn’t stop there—$45 million to help Venezuelan migrants settle in Colombia. And just to put the cherry on top, USAID even gave $3.2 million to help deported migrants ‘reintegrate’ back into Tunisia.
Now, think about that for a second. We’re literally paying to send people back to other countries and provide them with a "fresh start," while Americans can’t get a break at the gas pump. Meanwhile, we’re ignoring the fact that millions of people are illegally crossing into our country every day. If this isn’t a direct assault on our sovereignty, I don’t know what is.
But wait! There’s still more to discuss.
How about this for an absolute slap in the face: $15 million worth of contraceptives—yep, condoms—sent to Afghanistan under Taliban rule. Let that sink in. We’re sending birth control to a country where women are being treated like property under the Taliban’s brutal rule. But this isn’t just happening in Afghanistan. We’ve been sending $118 million worth of condoms to Africa, and I’m sure you’ll be thrilled to know that $3.2 million went to help 3D-print birth control for women in developing countries. Meanwhile, here at home, we’ve got children struggling to get an education, and our schools are in a state of disarray. But hey, at least we’ve got contraceptives in Afghanistan, right?
And as if the nonsense couldn’t get any worse, I’ve got one final point that will truly grind your gears. EcoHealth Alliance. Ever heard of them? They’re the ones that worked with the Wuhan Institute of Virology—yes, the same one that brought us the global pandemic. And guess who funded them? You guessed it—USAID. To the tune of $854,000. But don’t worry—since we’re so eager to throw away your money, USAID also handed EcoHealth another $1.1 million. And here’s the kicker: they awarded $4.67 million to this same group in 2021. Now, I’m no expert, but I’d say this is an ongoing problem, and one that’s likely to blow up in our faces sooner or later.
But, what do you expect? When the government is handing out cash to terrorists, funding organizations that have direct ties to groups like Hamas, and generally squandering taxpayer money on anything other than the needs of Americans, we’ve got a problem.
Folks, this is your money. This isn’t Monopoly money. It’s not play money, it’s real, hard-earned income. And right now, it’s being flushed down the drain of incompetence, bureaucracy, and globalist nonsense.
But here’s the good news: Trump’s taking action. He’s putting a freeze on these absurd programs, and for once, we have a president willing to put a stop to this madness. It’s about time someone in power started asking, ‘Why are we funding drag queens in Ecuador while our own citizens are struggling?’
We’ve got a lot to talk about today, so stay with me—because we’re going to dive deep into how we’re going to fix this mess and make sure our tax dollars go to the things that truly matter—like taking care of America first. I’m Joe Mangiacotti, and you're listening to The Joe Mangiacotti Show on WCRN. Stay tuned, folks, we've got a lot more to discuss.”

Opening Monologue for 1 PM Show on WCRNGood afternoon, folks! Welcome to the show—Common Sense Conversation for the Common Sense Citizen. I’m your host, Joe Mangiacotti, coming to you from the center of the dial, the center of New England, and the center of information—AM 830 WCRN Radio Central. Now, I don’t know about you, but I’m looking at the news today, and it feels like we’re living in some kind of upside-down world where criminals walk free, justice is political, and taxpayer money is funding things no American ever agreed to.Let’s start with this bombshell—turns out, our tax dollars—YOUR money—helped bankroll these so-called “Soros prosecutors.” You know, the ones who let violent criminals roam the streets while they go after conservatives, parents at school board meetings, and—oh yeah—the former President of the United States. That’s right. A deep dive into the funding of these radical district attorneys—Alvin Bragg, Kim Foxx, Larry Krasner, George Gascon—reveals that millions of dollars flowed through the Tides Foundation—a leftist money-laundering operation. And where did some of that money come from? The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID)—an arm of OUR government. So let me get this straight—we’re not just dealing with George Soros spending his billions to dismantle law and order… We’ve actually been helping him do it?Think about it: You go to work, you pay your taxes, and Washington sends some of that money to radical activist groups that install prosecutors who refuse to prosecute crime. And who gets hurt? Not Soros. Not the elites living behind gated communities. It’s YOU—the average American trying to live in a safe neighborhood. But let’s be clear—this isn’t incompetence. It’s intentional. And speaking of criminals running loose—let’s talk about Tucson, Arizona, where two Somali nationals, Ahmed Mahad Mohamed and Abdi Yemeni Hussein, just got sentenced to prison for trying to join ISIS.Now, they didn’t just wake up one day and decide to be terrorists. This is a failure of immigration policy, a failure of vetting, and a failure of national security. These guys were living here in the U.S., benefiting from everything this country offers—and instead of appreciating it, they decided they’d rather go behead people in the name of jihad. One of them even had dreams of being the next “beheading guy” for ISIS. Real upstanding citizens, huh?The Justice Department says they’ll be deported after their prison sentence. But let’s be honest—does anyone believe they’ll actually be tracked once they get sent back to Somalia? Or will they just go right back to what they were trying to do in the first place?Folks, this is exactly why Trump was right about vetting immigrants and why Biden’s open border policies are a disaster. We have no clue who is coming into this country, and in the name of political correctness, we’re letting in people who hate us.But let’s take a step back here—why isn’t the media making a bigger deal out of this story? If two white supremacists had been arrested for trying to launch an attack, the media would be all over it. But because it’s jihadists? Crickets. And that brings me to the bigger point here—the absolute double standard in our so-called justice system. On one hand, we’ve got Soros-backed prosecutors refusing to go after criminals—real criminals, violent criminals. But on the other hand, they’re throwing everything they’ve got at Donald Trump.Alvin Bragg—one of these Soros-funded DAs—is dragging Trump through the courts over some nonsense charges about hush money payments. Meanwhile, violent thugs in Manhattan are getting slaps on the wrist. How about this? Do your job, Bragg. Focus on actual crime in New York before playing politics. But of course, that’s the whole point, isn’t it? The justice system isn’t about justice anymore—it’s about power. It’s about punishing political opponents while protecting the people destroying our cities. And look, I know some people out there are still skeptical when we talk about the Deep State, but how many of these stories do we need to see before people wake up?• We’ve got government money funding radical prosecutors.• We’ve got open borders letting in potential terrorists.• We’ve got a two-tier justice system where criminals are victims and conservatives are criminals.• And we’ve got a media that covers up all of it.It’s all connected, folks. This isn’t conspiracy theory—this is happening right in front of us.So, what do we do about it?Step one—start paying attention. The media isn’t going to tell you what’s really going on, so it’s up to us to keep exposing it.Step two—vote accordingly. If you want law and order, if you want a justice system that actually holds criminals accountable, then you cannot keep electing these radical DAs, these weak-on-crime politicians, and these open-borders fanatics. And step three—demand action. Call your representatives. Flood their offices with emails. Show up at town halls. Let them know we’re not going to sit back and watch our country get torn apart.Because at the end of the day, this is still America. And America doesn’t belong to George Soros. It doesn’t belong to radical leftists. It belongs to We the People.Alright, I’ve got plenty more to say, and I want to hear from you—508-871-7000 is the number. Let’s talk about it.We’re just getting started—stick around, folks. More Common Sense Conversation coming up after the break, right here on AM 830 WCRN, Radio Central.

The Joe Mangiacotti Show – February 5, 2025 – 1 PM
Good afternoon, folks, and welcome to The Joe Mangiacotti Show! It’s Wednesday, February 5, 2025, and we are officially two weeks into President Trump’s second term—and let me tell you, it has been an absolute whirlwind. But this time, the man in charge isn’t walking in blind. He’s not figuring out the system as he goes—he knows exactly how Washington works, and for the last four years, he’s been getting ready for this moment.
In 2017, there was a learning curve. Trump was the ultimate political outsider—he came in with fresh ideas and a different way of doing things, but he was also surrounded by bureaucrats and establishment figures who weren’t on his side. Fast-forward to today—he’s wiser, sharper, and more prepared than ever. He’s not dealing with deep-state surprises—he knows where the landmines are, and this time, he’s not stepping on them.
And that’s exactly why we’re seeing swift and decisive action—starting with the confirmation of his new attorney general, Pam Bondi.Pam Bondi Takes Over the DOJ
Last night, the Senate confirmed Pam Bondi as the next U.S. attorney general, and make no mistake—this was a major victory for the Trump administration. Bondi was Florida’s attorney general, a tough prosecutor, and someone who has never backed down from a fight. And now, she’s stepping into one of the most powerful positions in Washington.
The vote was 54 to 46, and here’s where it gets interesting—Senator John Fetterman, a Democrat from Pennsylvania, crossed party lines and voted with Republicans. That’s something we don’t see every day. What does it mean? Does Fetterman see something his party doesn’t? Is this a sign that cracks are forming in the Democratic ranks? We’ll dig into that later.
But back to Bondi—she made it very clear in her confirmation hearing that the days of a politically weaponized Justice Department are over. She called out the long-running targeting of Trump and his allies, going all the way back to 2016. We’ve seen it—investigation after investigation, politically motivated charges, and double standards when it comes to how justice is applied in this country.
And Bondi didn’t mince words:
"If I am attorney general, I will not politicize this office. I will work to restore confidence and integrity to the Department of Justice—and each of its components. Under my watch, the partisan weaponization of the DOJ will end."
Strong words. But the real question is—will she be able to clean house? Well, it looks like that process is already underway.DOJ Shake-Up: Cleaning House
Even before Bondi was confirmed, Acting Attorney General James McHenry made headlines by firing more than a dozen prosecutors who had been involved in the investigations into Trump. Now, think about that—these were prosecutors who built cases against Trump based on evidence collected by the DOJ and FBI, and McHenry said they could not be trusted to carry out the president’s agenda fairly.
Let’s be clear—this isn’t just about loyalty. It’s about restoring credibility to a Justice Department that has lost the trust of the American people. When you have career prosecutors openly using the system to target one political side while giving the other a pass, that’s a problem. And it looks like the Trump administration is taking it seriously.
Of course, Democrats and the media are losing their minds, calling this a “purge” and claiming Trump is using the DOJ as a weapon. But let me ask you this—where was all this outrage when the DOJ was going after Trump for years? Where was the concern about “justice” when bureaucrats, operatives, and career officials were working behind the scenes to undermine an elected president?
Let’s call it what it is—Trump is finally playing offense, and the establishment doesn’t know how to handle it.Trump 2.0: A Different Kind of Presidency
And that brings me to the bigger picture—Trump 2.0 is different. This is not the same Trump administration we saw in 2017. Back then, he was dealing with leaks, backstabbers, and a media-industrial complex that worked overtime to discredit him. He had advisers and cabinet members who weren’t fully on board with his vision. But now?
Now, he knows how Washington works. He knows who’s with him and who’s against him. And he’s moving fast to put the right people in place.
This is exactly what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu once said about Trump—he said Trump sees things no one else does. And it’s true. Love him or hate him, you have to admit—Trump sees the game for what it is. He understands how the system works, and now, he’s making moves that others wouldn’t even consider.
And that’s why today, we need to ask:
What does Trump’s second term really mean for America? How will the DOJ operate under Bondi? Is this the beginning of a true deep-state takedown? And what about the Republican Party—are they fully behind Trump this time, or will we see more resistance from the establishment?
Folks, this is a pivotal moment in American history. Trump isn’t here to play defense—he’s here to reshape Washington in a way we haven’t seen in decades. And whether you’re a supporter or a skeptic, one thing is clear—this deserves discussion.
So, buckle up, because we’ve got a packed show ahead. I want to hear from YOU—what do you think of Pam Bondi’s confirmation? Was McHenry right to fire those prosecutors? And where does Trump’s presidency go from here?
We’ll take your calls, break it all down, and, as always, we’ll have some common sense conversation for the common sense citizen.
Let’s get to it.

The Joe Mangiacotti Show – Tuesday, February 4, 2025 – 1:00 PM
"Good afternoon, New England! Welcome to The Joe Mangiacotti Show, where we bring you common sense conversation for the common sense citizen, right here on WCRN 830 AM, the voice of reason in a world that seems to have lost its mind. It’s Tuesday, February 4th, and folks, we have a loaded show for you today!"
"We’re breaking down some major stories that cut right to the heart of what’s happening in our country—stories the mainstream media would rather sweep under the rug."
"First up: USAID—a taxpayer-funded agency that’s supposed to serve American interests abroad—is being exposed for what it really is: a partisan stronghold. A stunning 97% of political donations from its employees went to Democrats, and now, the agency is being folded into the State Department under Secretary Marco Rubio. We’ll unpack the fallout and why Trump’s administration says this was necessary."
"Then, the federal government is shrinking—fast. President Trump’s aggressive buyout program has already convinced 20,000 federal workers to take the deal, but that’s just the beginning. We’ll talk about what this means for government efficiency, accountability, and—most importantly—your tax dollars."
"And in Florida, a shocking case of voter fraud has been uncovered. An illegal immigrant, wanted for horrific crimes in New Jersey, managed to steal an American’s identity, register to vote, cast a ballot, and even obtain a firearm. If that doesn’t raise red flags about election security, I don’t know what will."
"We’ve got a fantastic guest joining us today—Andrew Laszlo to talk about his Fathers Book:
A Footnote in History
"Buckle up, folks—it’s going to be a fast-paced hour of facts, analysis, and, of course, a little common sense. You’re listening to The Joe Mangiacotti Show on WCRN 830 AM—let’s get started!"
Hey folks, on today's show I'll be joined by Andrew Laszlo Jr whose father is Andrew Laszlo ... a Survivor.
Tune in AM 830, stream or watch and stream on my social media and the station's
Call in line: 508-871-7000

The internationally recognized date for Holocaust Remembrance Day corresponds to the 27th day of Nisan on the Hebrew calendar. It marks the anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
In Hebrew, Holocaust Remembrance Day is called Yom Hashoah. When the actual date of Yom Hashoah falls on a Friday, the state of Israel observes Yom Hashoah on the preceding Thursday. When it falls on a Sunday, Yom Hashoah is observed on the following Monday. In the United States, Days of Remembrance runs from the Sunday before Yom Hashoah through the following Sunday.

2.3.25 - The Joe Mangiacotti Show - Monday

Opening Statement – February 3rd Show on WCRN 830 AM
Good afternoon, and welcome to another edition of common-sense conversation for the common-sense citizen. I’m Joe Mangiacotti, and we have a packed show for you today. We’ll be diving into the real-world impact of tariffs, the National Day of Immigrants boycott, and the ongoing struggles of the Democratic Party as they try—and fail—to find their footing in the post-2024 landscape.
Let’s start with tariffs. You know, the mainstream media and the political elite scoff every time Trump mentions tariffs, but here’s the reality: they work. Trump has been masterful at using tariffs not just as an economic tool but as a negotiation tactic. Take what’s happening with Mexico and Canada right now—just the mere suggestion that tariffs might be imposed or increased forces our neighbors to the north and south to rethink their trade practices. The United States has long been on the losing end of trade deals that put American workers last, but Trump has flipped that script. His willingness to use tariffs as leverage, combined with his ability to read a room and play hardball, has led to actual, tangible benefits for American industries and workers. And what’s truly remarkable is how even a comment, just a mention from him, sends other nations scrambling to adjust their policies. That’s the kind of leadership we haven’t seen in decades.
Now, let’s shift to today’s so-called National Day of Immigrants and the boycott that’s being pushed. This movement traces back to 2017, when activists first staged “A Day Without Immigrants” to protest Trump’s immigration policies. The idea is that immigrants—both legal and illegal—would stay home from work and not spend money to showcase their economic impact. But let’s call this what it really is: a politically motivated stunt designed to push an open-borders narrative. No one is denying that immigrants contribute to our economy—legal immigrants who follow the system have always been a backbone of American society. But what the left won’t tell you is the strain that unchecked illegal immigration places on our resources, schools, hospitals, and law enforcement. And let’s be real—this isn’t just about immigrants making a statement. This is about progressive activists weaponizing immigration for their own political gain.
And speaking of political dysfunction, let’s talk about the Democrats. They are still reeling from the last election, completely rudderless, and unable to agree on messaging. The infighting is on full display, with no clear leader stepping up to unify their fractured party. Every time they lose, they turn to the same tired excuses—racism, misogyny, voter suppression—rather than looking inward and admitting that their policies don’t resonate with the average American. Now, they’re stuck in a circular firing squad, unable to even explain their own gender balance rules. One minute they’re demanding absolute equality, the next they’re contradicting themselves, unable to keep up with their own shifting definitions. It’s chaos, pure and simple.
The reality is that while they’re busy tearing themselves apart, Trump and his policies are still shaping the national conversation. Whether it’s tariffs, trade, or immigration, his leadership continues to make waves. Meanwhile, the Democrats are stuck in a spiral of self-inflicted wounds, unable to connect with the very voters they claim to champion.
So, stick around—we’ve got a lot more to break down today. We’ll take your calls, we’ll dig into the facts, and as always, we’ll cut through the noise with a dose of common sense. This is Joe Mangiacotti, and you’re listening to WCRN 830 AM. Stay tuned!

The Joe Mangiacotti Show – Opening MonologueThursday, January 30, 2025 – WCRN 830 AM
Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to The Joe Mangiacotti Show right here on WCRN 830 AM. It’s Thursday, January 30, 2025, and we have a lot to cover today, from breaking news in Washington to corruption, recalls, and political hypocrisy. Buckle up—it’s going to be a packed hour of common-sense conversation for the common-sense citizen.Mid-Air Tragedy Over Washington, D.C.
We begin with the devastating mid-air collision that occurred last night just outside Washington, D.C. An American Airlines regional jet, flight AA-4821, on approach to Reagan National Airport, collided mid-air with a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter. The collision sent both aircraft crashing into the frigid waters of the Potomac River. So far, reports indicate at least 62 fatalities—including all crew and passengers aboard the jet and the helicopter’s military personnel. The Black Hawk was reportedly on a classified training mission at the time, and there is still speculation about what its role was in the area.
Just this morning, rescue divers recovered the black box from the American Airlines flight, which should provide critical details about what happened in the moments leading up to the crash. Eyewitnesses described a terrifying scene—a loud explosion, debris falling from the sky, and an eerie silence before both aircraft disappeared into the water. The FAA and NTSB are investigating, and initial reports suggest an issue with air traffic control communications may have contributed to the disaster. We’ll be following this closely.
This tragedy is yet another example of why our air traffic control system needs an overhaul. We've got pilots worried about safety, a shortage of trained air traffic controllers, and a system that still relies on outdated radar technology instead of modern GPS-based tracking. Could this have been avoided? We'll break it all down today.Bob Menendez Gets 11 Years – And Wants a Trump Pardon?
Moving on to politics, corrupt former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez was sentenced yesterday to 11 years in federal prison for bribery, corruption, and acting as a foreign agent. This guy wasn’t just taking bribes—he was literally working for the highest bidder, whether it was Egyptian officials or Qatar’s royal family. The FBI found nearly half a million dollars in cash stuffed in envelopes and clothing in his home, along with 13 gold bars worth over $150,000.
Now, what does Menendez do after getting sentenced? He claims the justice system is "corrupt" and suggests that President Trump should "fix it"—essentially fishing for a presidential pardon. This is the same guy who spent his career cozying up to the Democratic machine, attacking Trump, and now he’s looking for mercy? The hypocrisy is stunning. Should Trump even consider it? We’ll discuss.Elon Musk Calls for L.A. Mayor Karen Bass to Be Recalled
Out in California, Elon Musk is making waves again—this time calling for the recall of Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Musk posted on X that Bass is "going full communist" and must be recalled before it's too late. This comes after Bass hired an outside consultant—not elected officials, not the city council, but a private consultant—to handle the rebuilding efforts after the devastating Palisades wildfire.
Now, let’s put this in perspective. Los Angeles is already dealing with skyrocketing homelessness, rising crime, and a mass exodus of businesses fleeing the city’s overregulation and high taxes. And now, instead of giving residents control over rebuilding their homes and communities, she’s outsourcing the process to an unelected entity? Californians have seen this before—bureaucracy stepping in and making everything worse.
But here’s the problem: recalls in L.A. are nearly impossible because they require signatures from 10% of registered voters, and the city is overwhelmingly blue. Past efforts to recall district attorneys and school board members have failed despite massive public support. So the question is, does Musk have enough influence to change that?RFK Jr. Under Attack from a Leftist Smear Group – Funded by PornHub’s Parent Company?
Let’s shift to Washington, where Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is facing a coordinated smear campaign to sink his nomination as Secretary of Health and Human Services. The group leading the charge? Fight For The Future—a left-wing activist organization that claims Kennedy is a "bigoted conspiracy theorist."
But here’s where it gets really shady: this group is funded by Aylo, the parent company of PornHub—a company that admitted to profiting from sex trafficking. Yes, you heard that right. The same group that is smearing Kennedy opposed the Kids Online Safety Act, which was designed to protect minors from sexual exploitation online.
This is the new reality in American politics: special interest groups, backed by dark money and corporations with questionable ethics, trying to control who is allowed to serve in government. And Kennedy—who has spent decades advocating for public health reform—is being attacked for it. Why? Because the establishment doesn’t want real reform.Immigration Hypocrisy: Bronx Residents Applaud ICE Raids While Dem Leaders Cry Racism
Meanwhile, in New York City, there’s a massive disconnect between what Democratic politicians are saying about immigration and what actual residents of the Bronx think.
After a recent ICE operation arrested over 30 illegal immigrants with serious criminal records—including murder and kidnapping charges—residents in the Bronx actually applauded the move. One resident told reporters: “We just want to be safe.”
But at the same time, Democratic leaders like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are calling these raids "racist" and "inhumane." So which is it? Because the people who actually live in these communities—the ones dealing with rising crime—seem to want law enforcement to do its job.
The left keeps pushing the narrative that immigration enforcement is inherently racist, but the truth is, American citizens—of all races—just want their neighborhoods to be safe. When will the Democratic Party start listening to its own voters instead of pandering to open-border activists?Pentagon Removes General Milley’s Portrait – Rewriting History or Holding Him Accountable?
And finally, a symbolic but significant move: the Pentagon has removed General Mark Milley’s portrait. Milley, the former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, has been accused of undermining the chain of command, secretly communicating with China, and injecting politics into the military.
Some journalists are calling this an "erasure of history", but let’s be real—Milley’s record speaks for itself. If a general is more focused on diversity training and woke policies than on keeping our military strong and ready for combat, maybe his portrait doesn’t belong in the halls of the Pentagon.Final Thoughts
That’s the rundown for today, folks. We’ve got corrupt politicians getting exposed, leftist smear campaigns funded by shady corporations, political hypocrisy on immigration, and another tragic failure in our air traffic system.
We’ll be taking your calls, getting your thoughts, and diving deeper into what all of this means for America in 2025. Stay tuned—this is The Joe Mangiacotti Show, and we’re just getting started.
