2.28.21 LPDAM Accident Reconstructionist
Thursday Feb 25, 2021
Thursday Feb 25, 2021
It is sad news to hear of Tiger Wood’s motor vehicle accident. He sustained a significant leg injury that may affect his ability to perform at a high level expected of today’s athletes. Tiger has been known for his grit and work ethic to succeed at Golf’s
highest levels. He has been a joy to watch and I wish him the best in his recovery.
As with most serious car crashes, there will be an investigation into how it occurred. Tigers accident will be no exception. The police will recreate the accident through the evidence found on scene and a series of mathematical equations.
We do know there were no Sid-marks; which usually demonstrates the driver’s knowledge of the impending accident. It is possibly Tiger was distracted or dosed off.
One of the first things an accident reconstructionist will do is confirm the breaks were working and there was no foul play involving them. A professional investigator will also look at other variables, such as Tigers phone to see if he was texting; remember he was
late for his tee time. They will also look at any medications Tiger may be prescribed.
Remember, he has had several surgeries and much of these medications warn that it
could impair your ability to drive a vehicle. A common cause to single car accidents
often involve speed, especially when it occurs in good weather conditions. At
LPDAM.org, we know how to do an accident reconstruction and can do it independently of law enforcement. A professional LPDAM member does his or her work so it will stand
up in court. This is extremely important if criminal charges result from the accident.
fortunately no one else was injured. I know I been late a time or two and have just been lucky that nothing happened. The most intriguing piece of this accident in my opinion, is why doesn’t he have a driver. It just seems to make sense & it would
be a tax deduction for him and his brand. I say this all the time when I hear of a professional athlete getting into a car accident. They need to protect themselves better.
The NFL offers a program, but many players do not take advantage of it. At LPDAM,
some of our member offer executive protection drivers and it is a viable way for an
executive, professional athlete, or Hollywood star to be on time safely.
At LPDAM.org, our members are up to date on today’s activities! Remember, your in good hands with LPDAM!

2.21.21 LPDAM Legislation 3 30 Min
Wednesday Feb 17, 2021
Wednesday Feb 17, 2021
Legislation is the foundation of our licensing in Massachusetts. Under Massachusetts General Laws chapter 147, sections 22 through 30 lay out legislatively our licensing, qualifications, and that the
Massachusetts State Police will issue our licenses.
This is much different than many other licensed professions where they are licensed through the Secretary of State’s office. One reason that the
legislatures wanted the State police rather than a more traditional bureaucracy has to do with the
confidentiality imposed on our work product. It makes sense and we are held to a much higher standard than more traditional licensure.
Now getting back to your question
The nature of our business and the sensitivity with our work
product allows us access to much information across a wide spectrum of service industries. With that said, we need to be aware of current laws as they evolve, and we also introduce legislation that will
assist us in providing our clients cost effective services.
We recently introduced a proposed legislation to get better RMV access. The RMV updated its system and is more automotive now and it makes sense for licensed private investigators to have access in locating individuals and assisting clients with RMV
issues that cross over with other cases, such as appeals.

2.13.21 OWJ Black Restaurant Workers Less Tips During Pandemic
Friday Feb 12, 2021
Friday Feb 12, 2021
During the pandemic, Black restaurant workers have received less in tips than other racial groups, according to a report by labor advocacy group One Fair Wage.
Nearly 90% of Black workers reported their tips have declined by 50% or more, compared with 78% of all workers.
The report found Black employees have been treated with more hostility by customers than others on average as a result of mandating the appropriate social distancing and mask rules.

2.14.21 LPDAM Being Prepared
Thursday Feb 11, 2021
Thursday Feb 11, 2021
Being prepared
Potential clients call my office all the time looking to hire us based on a variety of reasons. The one that always gets under my skin is when a potential client says, “my attorney or investigator was not
prepared.” This is unacceptable and really should never happen. I acknowledge that the potential client may be someone who is seldom happy with services, however, you don’t have to be a rocket scientist to know if a professional is prepared. It is often obvious!
At LPDAM.org, our members take pride in being prepared. When we get it done, other professionals, like lawyers are prepared. It is just how it works! And who benefits, the client. It does not matter what
the business is, you have to use the tools of the trade to maximize your position. This is why licensing isso important.
