Joey comes in at 75 lbs and is in foster at the moment.. so if you are Looking for a new adventure buddy? A court jester? A couch companion? A playful pal? A loving friend? This giant goofball is your guy.. he’s looking for an experienced dog owner to call his own. Joey has the best butt wiggle and will always show you just how happy he is to see you! We think that Joey may not have the best auditory hearing, but that does not seem to slow him down in life at all and he will gladly show you that! He is happiest when he has a toy to wrestle with and could entertain himself for hours. But spending time with people is just as good as playtime for Joey! He will gladly jump up to sit with you, and is not shy about getting comfy right in your lap. He loves to play and romp around with female dogs. He prefers to be the only boy. We think Joey would be happiest in a home as the only animal, to be the center of attention, or with a canine sister! But no feline friends for this guy! Joey has his moments of getting overly excited (who doesn't?) but can easily be redirected when needed, as he is both toy and treat motivated. Having a fenced in yard is not a requirement but would be helpful for his adjustment to a home! Though he does well on a leash and loves his walks! He needs an adult-only household with people who are ready to continue training with him and set him up for success.
