The Joe Mangiacotti Show – February 10th, 2025
“Ladies and gentlemen, thank you for joining me this afternoon. It’s 1:00 PM on WCRN, and you’re tuned into The Joe Mangiacotti Show—where common sense is the currency, and today, we're about to spend it wisely.
Now, folks, I've gotta tell you—I've been doing this for a long time. I've seen it all, heard it all, and honestly, some of what I’m about to break down for you today is enough to make your head spin. We’re talking about your tax dollars—the hard-earned money you work for day in and day out—being funneled into some of the most ridiculous, infuriating, and downright offensive projects you could imagine. I’m not just talking about the usual waste; this is next-level stuff. So buckle up, because I’m going to take you through a list of government-funded ‘extravagances’ that will make your blood boil.
First up, let’s talk about USAID—the U.S. Agency for International Development. A name that sounds so innocent, right? But what if I told you it’s actually been a slush fund for all sorts of ridiculous, woke nonsense, funding everything from transgender operas in Colombia to drag shows in Ecuador? You heard me right, folks. Taxpayer money—your money—has been spent on this garbage. And don’t even get me started on how much has gone into funding “diversity, equity, and inclusion” programs in foreign countries. $2 million for transgender activism in Guatemala? $1.5 million for LGBTQ job programs in Serbia?
If you're sitting there thinking, “Joe, why should I care about this? This is happening halfway across the world.” Let me tell you why: because your government is siphoning off your money to push an agenda that doesn’t even have your interests in mind. Meanwhile, we’ve got homeless veterans on our streets, inflation eating away at your paycheck, and an economy that’s gasping for air. And yet, somehow, we can afford to fund drag queens on the other side of the globe. Ridiculous, right?
But it gets better—oh, it gets better, folks. Climate change? You know, the thing they keep telling us is the end of the world unless we spend trillions? USAID is throwing money at it like it’s Monopoly cash. We’re talking $150 billion—yes, BILLION—with a ‘B’—for climate equity, climate justice, whatever fancy term they’ve invented this week. And where is all this money going? Electric vehicle charging stations in Vietnam, a country that’s got a far cry from a robust EV market. How about $1.5 million to train Kenyan women to ‘fight climate change’? Last time I checked, the best way to fight climate change in the U.S. was by keeping the lights on and the economy moving—but apparently, the solution is to give away millions to other countries.
You know what’s truly infuriating about this? Americans are struggling at home. Gas prices are up, people can’t afford their groceries, and we’re supposed to sit back while our own government spends your tax dollars on things like electric car charging stations in third-world countries.
But hey, don't worry—there’s more.
Mass migration—a topic I know has been a hot-button issue lately. But you know what I don’t hear enough people talking about? How the U.S. government is actually funding this mass migration. $14 million in cash vouchers handed out to migrants at our southern border. And it doesn’t stop there—$45 million to help Venezuelan migrants settle in Colombia. And just to put the cherry on top, USAID even gave $3.2 million to help deported migrants ‘reintegrate’ back into Tunisia.
Now, think about that for a second. We’re literally paying to send people back to other countries and provide them with a "fresh start," while Americans can’t get a break at the gas pump. Meanwhile, we’re ignoring the fact that millions of people are illegally crossing into our country every day. If this isn’t a direct assault on our sovereignty, I don’t know what is.
But wait! There’s still more to discuss.
How about this for an absolute slap in the face: $15 million worth of contraceptives—yep, condoms—sent to Afghanistan under Taliban rule. Let that sink in. We’re sending birth control to a country where women are being treated like property under the Taliban’s brutal rule. But this isn’t just happening in Afghanistan. We’ve been sending $118 million worth of condoms to Africa, and I’m sure you’ll be thrilled to know that $3.2 million went to help 3D-print birth control for women in developing countries. Meanwhile, here at home, we’ve got children struggling to get an education, and our schools are in a state of disarray. But hey, at least we’ve got contraceptives in Afghanistan, right?
And as if the nonsense couldn’t get any worse, I’ve got one final point that will truly grind your gears. EcoHealth Alliance. Ever heard of them? They’re the ones that worked with the Wuhan Institute of Virology—yes, the same one that brought us the global pandemic. And guess who funded them? You guessed it—USAID. To the tune of $854,000. But don’t worry—since we’re so eager to throw away your money, USAID also handed EcoHealth another $1.1 million. And here’s the kicker: they awarded $4.67 million to this same group in 2021. Now, I’m no expert, but I’d say this is an ongoing problem, and one that’s likely to blow up in our faces sooner or later.
But, what do you expect? When the government is handing out cash to terrorists, funding organizations that have direct ties to groups like Hamas, and generally squandering taxpayer money on anything other than the needs of Americans, we’ve got a problem.
Folks, this is your money. This isn’t Monopoly money. It’s not play money, it’s real, hard-earned income. And right now, it’s being flushed down the drain of incompetence, bureaucracy, and globalist nonsense.
But here’s the good news: Trump’s taking action. He’s putting a freeze on these absurd programs, and for once, we have a president willing to put a stop to this madness. It’s about time someone in power started asking, ‘Why are we funding drag queens in Ecuador while our own citizens are struggling?’
We’ve got a lot to talk about today, so stay with me—because we’re going to dive deep into how we’re going to fix this mess and make sure our tax dollars go to the things that truly matter—like taking care of America first. I’m Joe Mangiacotti, and you're listening to The Joe Mangiacotti Show on WCRN. Stay tuned, folks, we've got a lot more to discuss.”
