February only highlights the many black Americans that have helped our country succeed over the past 245 years. Black Americans continue to be a part of our success today and within our future. It is nice to see us have the opportunity to learn more about our history through these designated times focused on specific groups and issues within our society. At LPDAM.org, we are committed to welcoming all and providing services to all in a fair & consistent manner. Thank you, Joe. Not many people know the first Black private investigator was a world war 1 veteran and his name was Samuel Marlowe. He was an interesting person. He was the founder of the old black screen actor’s guild. He was also a founder of the Universal Negro Improvement Association. Samuel Marlowe was much more than a private investigator. He was a trend setter! As with Samuel Marlowe, LPDAM is filled with multidimensional individuals with a wide range of knowledge & discipline. This is what made Samuel Marlowe good at what he did and LPDAM members good at what they do! It’s a major reason why we have “the find an investigator tab” on the LPDAM website. It really helps the consumer narrow the search of qualified licensed private investigators. More importantly, it’s easy. He really is Joe. He is credited with being the first black private investigator, but that is just a footnote to who the man was. A veteran; a contributor; a great representative of our industry. Samuel Marlowe is a Weather it is a missing person case, a cheating spouse, or a housing application verification; LPDAM has an investigator for you! We take pride in our history; in our capabilities; and our Association. We love what we do! Remember, you’re in good hands with LPDAM.
